Education
Comprehensive education is attainable in all of the degree programs the CoB has to offer. Undergraduate students can earn a Bachelors in Business Administration with majors in Accountancy, Computer Information Systems with an Information Security concentration, Equine Business, Finance, or Marketing. They can also pursue a Bachelors in Economics degree. For graduate students, there is a Full-time Masters in Business Administration, Professional MBA, Executive MBA, Global MBA, Entrepreneurship MBA, Masters in Accountancy, and a Masters in Business Analytics. Students who desire a doctorate can study for the Entrepreneurship Ph.D.
Undergraduate students have access to an array of scholarship opportunities. Graduate students also can partake in financial assistance through the College of Business Endowed Scholarship, Graduate Research Assistantships, and the Rotary Leadership Fellows Program. International influence and insight into global business can be a highly beneficial aspect of the educational process. Student Life
Business students have countless opportunities to take advantage of real-life experiences that amplify their learned course material. One of the ways to do this is by joining a student organization. Undergraduates can participate in Delta Sigma Pi, Equine Clubs, ENACTUS, Investment Club, Financial Management Association, National Association of Black Accountants, Student Marketing Association, and Phi Beta Lambda. Graduate-specific groups include MBA Finance Club, Association of Women MBAs, MBA Global Business Club, MBA Management & Strategy Club, and Entrepreneurship Club.
The Ulmer Career Management Center promises a lifetime commitment to assisting in the career path of every student. This involves counsel, care, interview prep, workshops, events, introducing students to local, regional, and international prospects, and online job search tools. The Forcht Center for Entrepreneurship serves students, faculty, staff, and the Louisville business community in their entrepreneurial efforts through mentorship, allocation of resources, advocacy, and incredible wisdom and support. The Family Business Center is immensely supportive of family businesses. It provides opportunities for these businesses to work together, learn from each other, deal with challenges, and hear from experts in the field. The Center for Free Enterprise works towards enhancing society through research that focuses on enterprise and entrepreneurship.
