The Hull College of Business works diligently to provide business students with diverse learning experiences through many experiential learning activities, public partnerships, study abroad opportunities, and up to date academic coursework. In order to assure students are fully prepared for employment, all Hull undergraduate students are required to complete at least one internship prior to graduation, as well as, courses in business and professional skills, project management, professional selling, and business operations. These additions to the base curriculum may play a role in the nearly 100% job placement rate of graduates within six months of completing their degree.

Education

The James Hull College of Business carries esteemed accreditation with AACSB International and offers two undergraduate programs in Business Administration and Business Administration Accounting. Concentration options include Financial Services, Healthcare Management, Digital Marketing, and Applied Economic Analysis. They additionally provide certification in Hospitality Administration Management and a flexibly formatted MBA program.

Student Life

The mission of the Hull College of Business is “to provide ongoing high-quality business education, distinctive academic programs, and experiential learning opportunities that give [their] students and the business community a competitive advantage.” There are many programs and resources that help students meet their highest potential, such as the Hull College Career and Academic Planning Center (CAP). This center provides both academic guidance and career planning resources. Academic planning coordinators are available to assist students in understanding degree requirements, goal setting, study abroad advising, tutoring referrals, and much more. Career advisors play an important role in organizing internships opportunities and also offer individual coaching sessions designed to prepare students for resume writing, interview skills, salary negotiations, and finding the right career path. Student organizations are an excellent way for participants to network with peers and gain valuable interest-based skills sets. Business students at Augusta University may choose from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the MBA Student Association, Phi Beta Lambda, the American Marketing Association, Beta Gamma Sigma, or the International Business Society. Business students also have an opportunity to take part in campus recreation programs such as free kayaking passes, intramural sports, and group fitness classes. The Jags Choose Wellness Program is a unique initiative that provides resources for comprehensive wellness in areas such as finance, spirituality, health, and emotional well being.

Online Programs

The Hull Master’s of Business Administration can be completed in a hybrid format. Classes are offered in a face-to-face format, online, hybrid, or through immersion courses. The flexible curriculum is 30 credit hours in length and can be finished within 12 to 24 months. This flexible option follows the same high-quality course schedule as the traditional program and includes courses such as Accounting Systems for Managerial Control, Managerial Finance, Business Analytics for Managers, and Organizational Behavior.
