Southwestern Oklahoma State University recognizes that online degrees are today’s most common distance delivery method in America. Online learning provides access to instructors and peers wherever there is an internet connection. SWOSU online uses Canvas as their learning management system which allows course materials to be delivered and where connections with instructors and peers occurs. Most course schedules are asynchronous, although the general expectation is that students will interact with the class frequently. Online undergraduate degrees are available in nursing and other health-related fields; graduate degrees offered online are in education disciplines, healthcare informatics, nursing and sports management. Available student resources and support services include a robust help section including academic advising, counseling, tutoring and financial aid assistance. A dedicated career services office is also available for all students.
