How Do We Rank the Best Regional Colleges in the North?
There are two halves to the College Consensus. One half is the Publisher Rating, which puts together all of the most current rankings from standard-setters like U.S. News & World Report, The Wall Street Journal, and WalletHub. The other half is the Student Reviews Rating, made up of the most reliable student reviews from sites including Cappex and My Plan. These two ratings combined determine the College Consensus, the internet’s most comprehensive, aggregate college ranking.
College Consensus’ ranking of the Best Regional Colleges-North recognizes the undergraduate colleges that do the job of preparing an educated workforce. Regional colleges are defined as being primarily associate’s and bachelor’s institutions that offer programs for a statewide or regional audience. The Best Regional College-North includes the smaller colleges and junior colleges that do not have master’s programs or high-profile research, but do make top-quality education accessible. The North has a lot of competition, but these are the colleges experts and students agree are the smartest choices.
What’s Different About the College Consensus Ranking?
