West Virginia State University understands the needs and challenges of today’s students and adult learners; the school has been expanding its online catalog to meet the demands of the current market. The school created the center for online learning to offer support to faculty to enhance their instruction methods to maximize the impact of curriculum in an online environment. Many resources are available to instructors which translates into high quality online courses. Undergraduate programs offered 100% online are available in business in two disciplines, criminal justice, English and health sciences; a master’s degree in education is also available online. As part of the services available specifically for online students is a highly interactive and easily accessible library access including borrowing service, copying service, electronic resources, interlibrary loans, online catalog and reference, research & instruction services.
