There are also minors offered in Marketing, Business, Finance, and Agribusiness. Graduate students can pursue a Masters in Business Administration. To help assist students who cannot afford to obtain a higher education, Chadron State offers many scholarships that business students can receive. These include scholarships for incoming freshmen, transfer students, current students, and graduate students. MBA students can also participate in Graduate Assistantships to both enhance their educational experience and help pay their tuition. There are numerous outside scholarships available as well for both undergraduate and graduate students. To help expand students’ international perspective, business students can partake in the study abroad opportunity to visit London, Northern Ireland, and Dublin. This trip is led by Chadron State faculty and will consist of visiting Irish start-up businesses, the Guinness Brewery, Mini and Jaguar plants, TESCO Foods, and more.

Student Life

There are a couple of organizations at the school that can be very beneficial to business students in their quest for experiential learning. Phi Beta Lambda members receive networking opportunities with peers and business leaders locally, statewide, and nationally. They gain leadership development, opportunities to serve the community, relationships, career preparation assistance, conferences, competitions, scholarships, prizes, and internship opportunities. For students pursuing a Business Administration degree, membership in the business honor society, Delta Mu Delta, is a high honor. Students who become members receive a Bloomberg Businessweek subscription, a lifetime newsletter, recognition for achievement for the rest of their lives, scholarship opportunities, and a vast network of highly accomplished and successful business owners and entrepreneurial-minded people around the globe. Students who are a part of the Business Academy also have access to the Rural Business Leadership Initiative and the Nebraska Business Development Center.

To give students who cannot attend classes on campus the advantage of receiving a business education from Chadron State, they have provided degree programs that can be completed entirely online.
