The School of Business at American InterContinental University is designed to educate the beginner student all the way through the knowledgeable business professional. It carries the ACBSP accreditation and is 100% committed to providing a supportive, well-rounded, high-quality education that sets students up for great success. The university has campuses in Atlanta, Houston, and online.

Education

Undergraduate students can obtain an Associates degree in Business Administration, Bachelors in Accounting, and a Bachelors in Business Administration. The Bachelors in Business Administration offers specializations in Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Fashion Marketing, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality Management, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Project Management, and Technology Management. Graduate students pursue a Masters in Business Administration with specializations in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Management, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Project Management, and Technology Management.

In efforts to financially assist students in being able to earn a college degree, AIU offers several scholarships and grants to eligible students including the Academic Educational Alliances Grant, International Scholarship, Lifelong Learning Grant, Alumni Referral Grant, Tribal Educational Alliances Grant, Success Grant, Advantage Grant, and the Corporate Educational Alliances Grant. The university respects and acknowledges the sacrifice and service of military personnel. Therefore, they offer several grants and scholarships, including the Veterans Grant, the Military Spouse Grant, the EANGUS Scholarship, and the Yellow Ribbon Grant. There is also an Employer Tuition Reimbursement program.

Student Life

There are numerous opportunities for students to connect with business leaders, gain hands-on experience, and enhance their business knowledge in the highly exciting and busy cities of Atlanta and Houston. Both cities have clubs and groups that give business students the chance to build relationships with peers, network, and get involved in the community. They also host major sports teams and many forms of entertainment that students can enjoy in their spare time. Business students at the Houston campus have the added advantage of learning in updated facilities that include computer labs, lounges, large areas for group work and study, and a Learning Resource Center. There are also many city libraries close to both campuses where students can spend time studying as well.

Online Programs

A significant advantage of the School of Business at American InterContinental University is that almost every business degree program offered on-campus is also available entirely online. This includes the Associates in Business Administration, Bachelors in Accounting, and all of the specializations for the Bachelor in Business Administration degree except for Fashion Marketing. These online programs have excellent benefits, including flexibility in schedule, convenience, accelerated options, interactive learning experiences, and financial savings. Social Media Communities also exist to help online students connect with online, Atlanta, and Houston AIU students, build relationships, and be up-to-date on university news.
