The Cancer for College Scholarship organization was created to help students who have survived cancer ease the stress of paying for college. While Cancer for College helps cancer survivors throughout the United States go to college, they also have specific scholarships in North Carolina and South Carolina. The Morehead-Cain Scholarship is an amazing opportunity well-known throughout North Carolina. The scholarship covers full tuition for students. Students must be residents of North Carolina, have already completed at least 6 graduate credits (courses in progress as of the application deadline do not qualify), and their program must be accredited by the National League For Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation.
