Thomas Edison State University offers a full range of online degree programs including associates, bachelor’s and master’s as well as many certificate programs. The programs are offered on a robust website called myEdison where students keep in contact with instructors and mentors and submit their work. Edison was launched in 1972 and quickly gained notoriety for its many course offerings. Dozens of degree programs – both undergraduate and graduate level – are available 100% online. The school has been recognized for its early adoption of online education (dating to pre-1994) and the business administration, psychology, social science and sociology programs have been nationally recognized for their value. Strategic partnerships are maintained with corporations and businesses for tuition assistance for the benefit of adult learners.
