Xavier boasts an variety of architectural styles, from the saddle roof atop Bellarmine Chapel (a design that prevents collapse) to the six castle-type buildings along the Academic Mall that join together to look like a fortress. Among the many politicians who call Xavier their alma mater is former Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner.
