The Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has been educating students for over one hundred years. Education
Gies College of Business offers undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Information Systems, Strategic Business Development and Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain Management. They also offer a variety of graduate degrees including MBA, Master’s of Science in Accountancy, Master’s of Science in Finance, Master’s of Accounting Science, Master’s of Science in Business Administration, Master’s of Science Financial Engineering, Master’s of Science in Management, and Master’s of Science in Technology Management. In addition to this wide variety of options, you can further your education even more with one of three of their Doctoral programs, including PhDs in Accounting, Business Administration and Finance.
Under the Department of Business Management students are offered six different majors, allowing them to discover the many facets of business such as marketing, management, technology, and entrepreneurship. Versatility is an asset that the Gies College of Business strives to instill in all of their students, so that no matter what role they take in business, they can be successful. Every major offered has at least a 92% success outcome rate. The supply chain management and operations management programs boast an impressive 100% placement for their graduates.
Student Life
Gies is housed within the state of the art Business Instructional Facility, BIF, on campus. BIF provides a space where students can learn, study, and collaborate. It houses popular commons areas, classrooms, career services, academic counseling services, a 300 seat auditorium, and more! Many business students also attend classes at Wohlers Hall, right across from BIF. Despite their large numbers, business students at Gies are able to explore their interests and develop relationships by becoming members of the more than thirty undergraduate organizations offered.
Online Programs
Online degrees are offered through the Gies College of Business in Master’s of Business Accounting, Master’s of Science in Accountancy, Master’s of Science in Strategic Brand Communication. All three programs are highly regarded and have an estimated cost of around $25,000.
