Academic Programs

Stevens Institute of Technology is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and offers Bachelor’s degrees, post-baccalaureate Certificates, Master’s degrees and Doctorates in over 30 fields of study. The school boasts a robust online degree program for post-graduates, also. The largest program on campus is in Engineering, in which the school confers 10 different Bachelor’s degrees: Biomedical, Computer, Environmental, Naval, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Management and Software. The Institute is comprised of 4 colleges and schools: the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering & Science, the School of Systems & Enterprises, the School of Business and the College of Arts and Letters. Additionally, over a third of students opt for Cooperative Education program including research, externships and internships, adding one year to their enrollment. Per the Mission Statement, Stevens aims “To inspire, nurture and educate leaders in tomorrow’s technology-centric environment while contributing to the solution of the most challenging problems of our time.”

Student Life

There are around 3,000 undergraduate students enrolled in Stevens Institute of Technology, most of whom live on campus among the 20 available housing options. The school sponsors over 100 clubs and student organizations, including club sports and intramurals. For the varsity athlete, the Stevens red and gray Ducks, led by Attila the Duck, field teams in 13 sports and participate in NCAA Division III competition.
