Goshen College is a private, 4-year, liberal arts college located in Goshen Indiana. Established in 1894 the school is affiliated with the Mennonite Church USA and welcomes students from all faiths and backgrounds. Goshen College operates off of a 135 acre campus which features at least 19 major buildings; in addition, the College owns a 1,189 acre natural sanctuary located just 31 miles away from the main campus as well as a marine biology laboratory in the Florida Keys. Named one of the Best Values among Liberal Arts Colleges and one of the country’s best national liberal arts colleges, Goshen College is a proven leader in the liberal arts education, focusing on providing students with an international, interdisciplinary, and integrative learning experience.

Academic Programs

Goshen College is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and has been so since 1941. Committed to cultivating students’ passion for learning and faith-filled global citizenship in any field of study, Goshen College’s core values include Christ-centeredness, passionate learning, servant leadership, compassionate peacemaking and global citizenship. Nearly 40 undergraduate majors and even more minors are offered, culminating in either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Adult degree completion programs are available with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership, RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. Goshen College also offers a select graduate programs, including a Master of Arts in Environmental Education, a Master of Science in Nursing (with a Family Nurse Practitioner track), and a Master of Business Administration.

Goshen College offers one of the best study abroad programs and ranks as one of the top five colleges in the nation for the most students studying abroad. Nearly 65% of students spend time studying abroad and the school has been named one of the most globally-minded colleges.

Student Life

Nearly 850 students are currently enrolled at Goshen College, including more than 750 undergraduates. Ranked as one of the top liberal arts colleges for the most international students, Goshen College boasts a diverse student body with students hailing from more than 30 states and more than two dozen foreign nations. More than 40 denominations are also represented on Goshen College’s campus, including Mennonite/Annabaptist, Protestant denominations, Roman Catholic, and a handful of other faith traditions. More than 35 student clubs and organizations exist, catering to a wide range of passions and interests and providing students with a number of ways to plug in and become involved on campus. In addition, Goshen College offers a number of musical ensembles, theater opportunities, faith opportunities, and intramural sports.

Goshen College’s varsity teams compete at the NAIA Division II level and the school is a member of the Crossroads League conference. Playing under the colors of purple and white with the Maple Leafs mascot, Goshen College’s athletic teams include baseball, basketball, cross-country, soccer, tennis, track and field, women’s volley ball.
