Distance learning at Winona State University includes individual courses and full programs as non-traditional education opportunities for students with schedule demands or geography barriers to attending a campus course. Maintaining quality of content as a prime focus, WSU’s distance programs seek to engage the student and support learning by offering guidance and assistance to ensure student success. Support is available in online tutoring and advising, remote access to the writing center as well as remote access to typical student services; this lends itself to extending the community to online students instead of isolating them. Bachelor programs available online include healthcare leadership and individualized studies; online graduate-level certificates are also offered. Full technical support and assistance is available, as is access to the career services department.
