Wheeling Jesuit University seeks to help students meet their educational goals to enhance or advance their career. Offering online programs, Wheeling Jesuit University allows students to maintain schedule commitments and eliminate geography obstacles that would otherwise prevent their attending campus for classes. The school offers an overview document detailing expectations and criteria to inform the student about the online learning environment, and provide the technical requirements for successful completion of a class and, ultimately, a degree. Certificate and degree programs are available in nursing (RN to MSN), teaching (accelerated program), education leadership and business administration. A full range of student resources and support services is available including admission, financial aid and enrollment, academic advising and counseling, technical support and access to the career services center.
