Western Texas College introduces online learning with a 1, 2, 3 registration screen stepping through the setup process. Using eCampus also known as moodle, students are offered the login link as well as links to the bookstore and class descriptions. Online learning comes in three options: self-paced tutorials with a certificate of completion awarded with passing score of final exam, instructor-led courses with monthly start dates, interactive learning environment in a six-week format and career training programs which typically last less than 6 months. Associate’s degrees are offered online in general studies and business applications and WTC has transfer agreements for graduates to transition to a four-year institution’s bachelor degree program smoothly. Resources and student support systems available include admissions, financial aid and enrollment, academic advising and more.
