
The University of the Incarnate Word administers online learning through the School of Professional Studies. Students must be a minimum of five years post-baccalaureate; the classes are presented in a non-traditional, accelerated format including online or at a remote learning center. Undergraduate programs available include administration, applied arts & sciences, business administration (with eight majors), criminal justice, health sciences, human resources, leadership studies, organizational development, psychology and public administration. Graduate level degrees include administration (with five disciplines), MBA, education and teacher leadership. Online student resources and support are available starting with a dedicated site for adult learners. In addition to the support services available to traditional students like admission assistance and financial aid, counseling and career placement services, there is a tutorial video specifically for online students to understand the nuances associates with distance learning.
