
Union County College is a two-year, student-centered, public institution of education. New Jersey’s first community college, Union has been serving career-minded and transfer-oriented students since 1933. The College’s distance learning opportunities have steadily increased with each semester with fully online and hybrid program options. Each online program is designed to provide flexible, learner-centered instruction with courses that are instructor-developed. Fully online degrees and certificates are available, including the associate of arts, the associate of applied science, and the associate of science. Areas of study include (but are not limited to) business, liberal arts, psychology, public administration, sociology, criminal justice, social services, and computer information systems & technology. Available through the CANVAS learning management system (LMS), Union offers a number of support services specifically designed for online learners including Canvas training, online tutoring, and online advising.
