
The Division of Academic Affairs administers the distance education and extension programs at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. The university offers undergraduate and graduate degree completion programs online. Distance education, as defined by UNC Wilmington, includes off-campus instruction for credit (whether face-to-face, electronically mediated, or a combination of methodologies). Undergraduate programs available online include clinical research, criminology, elementary education and nursing: RN-BSN. Online graduate programs are offered in business (executive MBA), chemistry, clinical research, education with multiple disciplines, liberal studies and nursing: MSN & DPN. Student resources and support services available include admission, financial aid and enrollment, specific non-traditional student services under a program called ‘PERCH” including personal counseling as well as a robust career guidance and service center including available internships, employer sponsorship programs and placement.
