Brighton College offers online study in the Paralegal Institute to prepare graduates for certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) to become a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA). The certificate program is offered completely online and meets all the eligibility requirements put forth by the NALA; the program at Brighton College prepares graduates for the NALA exam. Additionally, Brighton College offers an associate’s degree in paralegal studies which serves to better prepare the graduate for entry into the workforce with a competitive edge. The associate’s degree program is also available completely online. Brighton College also offers other online associates programs, including legal nurse consultant, business, allied health and personal development courses. Start dates are frequent and the coursework is asynchronous; although interaction is available and encouraged.
