The School of Nursing at Saint Louis University has a rich history of online education dating to 1997. Already notable for its first-in-the-country accelerated BSN program, the university was first to offer Missouri’s first online MSN and first in the nation to offer an online certificate program designed to prepare graduates to be prepared for disaster. Online degrees offered include RN to BSN, MSN (free-standing and with optional disciplines of nurse-practitioner and clinical nurse leader) and DNP. A post-master’s certificate program is also available online. The essential information page is filled with all the technical, hardware and software programs needed to engage in online courses, and details the procedure for proctored exams. Access to libraries, writing services and tutoring centers are included, as are all necessary forms for program completion and career guidance services.
