Rochester Institute of Technology was an early adopter of virtual distance education; it offered its first degree programs online in 1991. RITOnline hosts the academic division with a robust, interactive site that houses a wealth of information. The school offers bachelor of applied arts and sciences and bachelor of applied technical leadership in addition to undergraduate-level certificates. Master’s degrees are available in business administration-online executive, applied statistics, computing security, data science and environmental, health and safety management. Graduate-level certificates are offered, too. Student support is available in the form of a concierge service where individual attention is provided to connect the student with the team that will best meet the need. All student support available to residential students is available to virtual students as well.
