Distance learning at Pamlico Community College is supported by a robust department with the goal of meeting student’s needs for education while overcoming schedule and geography challenges. PCC is a member participant of NC-SARA which makes their curriculum available to students from other states. All courses are identical to on-campus versions and are fully accredited. Using Moodle as their content delivery method, Pamlico Community College offers synchronous online classes. Pamlico Community College also maintains articulation agreements with four-year institutions to ensure a smooth transfer into a bachelor’s degree program. Dedicated resources and student support services for online learners includes academic advising and counseling, bookstore and library access, student e-mail and access to the campus network, virtual student success center featuring tutoring and coaching, full technical support and access to the career center.
