Oakland City University is a private, coeducational, Christian institution of higher education. Educating students since 1885, the University “strives continuously to be a leader in providing students a high quality, affordable, Christian education.” Oakland City University offers a number of online degree programs through its online learning department, OCU Online. With degrees ranging from the Associate of Arts to the Doctor of Education, students have their choice of programs in fields including (but not limited to) general studies, religious studies, business, criminal justice, and education. Each program features flexible, online delivery with courses offered in a 5-week class rotation. Committed to serving students and keeping costs affordable, OCU accepts up to double the amount of transfer credits accepted at other institutions of higher education.
