
Northern Michigan University offers a wide array of online and hybrid programs to assist adult learners in meeting their educational goals. From an associate’s program in criminal justice to bachelor’s degree programs in leadership, laboratory medicine, loss prevention, management, psychology and nursing to master’s programs in education and public administration, NMU helps non-traditional students enhance or advance their career status with minimal impact to their existing schedule commitments and no on-campus attendance requirement. NMU has an equitable credit transfer policy and online students have a dedicated orientation page and global campus newsletter. Student support services and resources available to online students include admissions, financial aid and enrollment, academic advising and counseling, access to bookstore and library, access to NMU policies and resource database and the career services center.
