Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) is a public, tax-supported, two-year educational institution serving several counties in northeast Iowa. NICC offers a number of online and blended learning options including its Z-Degree program, an additional degree pathway towards earning the Associate of Arts degree. Designed in 8-week online courses, known as Z-courses, there is zero cost for textbooks and students can register for classes offered during five sessions throughout the year. In addition to these free-to-low-cost online education options, NICC also offers several complete degrees and certificate programs in areas including (but not limited to) Agriculture, Accounting, Business, Finance, and Health. Hosted in the Brightspace Learning Environment (LE), all of NICC’s online courses and classes may be accessed 24/7 from any computer or mobile device, allowing for greater freedom and flexibility.
