Middle Georgia State University’s department of distance learning collaborates with all other academic schools to oversee and administer access to higher education for traditional and non-traditional learners. MGA seeks to meet the challenges facing today’s students by offering flexibility and convenience in the quest for a college degree. MGA strives to provide career-enhancing degree programs to those with schedule commitments or geography obstacles that prevent their attendance in a traditional classroom; by embracing new content delivery technology, academic goals can be reached in new and exciting ways. Master’s and bachelor’s degrees offered online include information technology and nursing; associate’s degrees available feature criminal justice, financial technology and political science. MGA also offers online certificates in the school of aviation in airline and airport management. Support and resources for online students is readily available.
