Michigan Technological University is a public research university which has been educating students since 1885. Operating with a mission “to create a just, prosperous, and sustainable world”, the University offers a number of online learning options ranging from high school dual-enrollment programs to graduate-level degrees and certificates. Areas of study include (but are not limited to) engineering, education, and healthcare. Most of Michigan Tech’s internet-based programs can be earned entirely online, however certain graduate degree programs do have limited residency requirements. Designed to be an immersive learning experience, students remain connected via forums, chat and email and each online course includes interactive technologies, video conferencing, and live streaming through the University’s state-of-the-art learning management system.
