Mercy College, founded in 1950, has had distance education in view since the 1970s. Online opportunities became a reality in the 1990s and today, Mercy College offers a wide array of online degree programs including bachelor’s degrees in behavioral science, business administration, computer science, corporate & homeland security, cyber security, criminal justice, education, mathematics, nursing, psychology and sociology. Master’s programs include behavioral science, education, counseling, cyber security, health services, nursing, organizational management and psychology. Online student support includes tech support, testing and a tip sheet for online course participation. General support for online students is administered by the student affairs team, which offers help in a variety of topics including orientation, school calendar, accessibility, library access and career development.
