Lower Columbia College offers an online option for students who live remotely from the school or have schedule challenges that would preclude their ability to attend campus for classes. The program is general in nature and includes such areas of study as communications, humanities, social science, natural science, studies in diversity and various electives for credit toward graduation. The online program is designed to meet the first two years’ requirements of a bachelor’s degree program and have the successful graduate transfer into a four-year program. Lower Columbia College holds agreements with several four-year schools to make the transition smooth. Student resources and support services are available to online students including admissions, financial aid and enrollment, academic advising and counseling, access to relevant databases and networks and the career center.
