Kirtland Community College is upfront about online learning, “One of the biggest misconceptions of online learning is that it’s easy; it’s not. It is incredibly convenient. You can save travel time and costs, but the investments you’ll make with your energy and attention will make it feel very much like you’re in college — because you will be.” Calling out the successful types as self-starters, disciplined and determined students, Kirtland offers its associate degrees that can also meet the initial requirements of a bachelor’s program. Online associate degrees are available in accounting, business administration & management and health information technology. Additionally, Kirtland offers online certificate programs as well. Kirtland maintains articulation agreements within the Michigan Transfer Network to assist transfer to a four-year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree.
