James Madison University online hosts the distance education unit of the school. JMU offers distinctive online programs for adult learners whose learning needs are best served via alternate methods, and encouraging innovation in online learning environments to support student learning broadly. Adult degree completion programs available online include business and RN to BSN. Graduate programs offered online are in education & education technology, computer science, mathematics and speech and language pathology. Readiness assessment, technology requirements, admission, financial aid and enrollment guidance including credit transfer help and access to the bookstore and library. Academic resources and student support services include advising for academic and career choices, counseling, disability services, science & math learning center and writing lab, study guides and strategies and access to the MyMadison network.
