Davidson County Community College (DCCC) is a public, two-year, higher-education institution serving the area of Davidson County, North Carolina. Educating students since 1963, the College’s mission is to provide “innovative and equitable learning experiences to empower individuals, transform lives, and prepare students for enhanced career and educational opportunities within a changing global community.” DCCC offers distance learning options with online curriculum and continuing education courses. The latter provides lifelong learning through non-credit courses while curriculum courses are designed to be part of an education program leading to a degree, diploma, or certificate. DCCC offers several programs leading to an associate’s degree that may be earned either fully or partly online. DCCC is committed to supporting students and offers several resources including free in-person and online tutoring for pre-curriculum and curriculum students.
