Berkshire Community College offers online and hybrid courses to meet the challenges of many students who have schedule commitments or geographic obstacles that would prevent their attending classes on campus. Online courses allow the student to access course materials from anywhere at any time with no requirement to attend campus. Using Moodle as the content delivery system, Berkshire Community College leverages current technology for educational success. A robust FAQ page explains many facets of online learning, including the option to complete an associate’s degree in liberal arts completely online. Additionally, online classes provide transferable credit for those who pursue a bachelor’s degree at a four-year institution through the school’s transfer program. Support services (over and above tech support) dedicated to online students include bookstore and library database access and online tutoring.
