Arizona Western College offers two-year degrees designed for early entry into the workforce or transfer into a bachelor’s degree program. The website offers good introductory information and step by step instructions through the application process and program selection. Associates degrees are available in business, computers and healthcare fields. In addition to admission, financial aid and access to the administrative offices, student support and resources include academic advising, tutoring, computer lab and counseling. Technical support and access to the community network is also available, as is career counseling service. AWC has articulation agreements with the major state universities in Arizona, whereby an associate’s degree from AWC can satisfy the first two years’ requirement for a bachelor’s degree in the same field. AWC offers robust assistance with transfer into a four-year program.
