Nyack College presents online learning in a cohort model which promotes interaction between peers and instructors in order to foster a greater sense of community in the virtual environment. The cohort model does not impede flexibility or convenience, however, as students are still able to work at their pace as their schedule allows. Nyack College stresses community learning in order to enhance the academic experience and engage each student to facilitate impactful learning. Undergraduate degrees offered online include biblical studies, business, liberal arts and psychology. There are graduate degree programs offered online as well. Admissions is handled online and available student resources spans the traditional expectations. The career services department is unique in its self-assessment and marketing components designed for the student to plan ahead early in the academic stages to prepare for future employment.
