Student Life

The College of Business has its own recognized Academic Advising Office and the Peter M. & Paula Green Johnson Career Center that can focus entirely on business students. These resources assist the educational pathway for every student. The Career Center helps facilitate the “backpacks to briefcases” process through career fairs, career events, on and off-campus professional networking opportunities, resume building workshops, elevator pitches, and interview prep. Business students can get involved with other business students, grow in their knowledge, and help serve the community through student groups such as Alpha Kappa Psi, Global Business Club, American Marketing Association, Supply Chain Club, Beta Alpha Psi, Financial Management Association, and the Society of Human Resource Managers. The College encourages its students to take part in many different business-related competitions throughout the country to enhance their educational experience, including the school’s own $50,000 Entrepreneurship Competition. The Center for Professional Selling exists to increase knowledge, experience, research, and the management of sales and customer service.

Online Programs

The 100% flexible online degree programs benefit both the undergraduate and graduate student. The online Bachelors in Business Administration is a degree completion program designed only for students that need to complete the final two years of the degree. The MBA is a part-time, online program and has the optional concentration in Energy.
