Education

There is an exceptional variety of on-campus and online degree programs that prepare undergraduates and graduates for their field of interest. Expert and dedicated faculty bring knowledge and experience and offer personal attention through small class sizes.

Through the Bachelor in Business Administration degree, students can major in Finance, Integrated marketing, Human Resource Management, Management, Integrated Supply Chain Management, or Professional Sales. There is also a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Business minors include Entrepreneurship and Marketing Strategy & Visual Communication, and Certificate Programs are in Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Leadership & Human Performance. Graduate studies consist of the Masters in Information Systems Management with an emphasis option in Business Analytics or Cybersecurity and four more Masters programs offered online.

To add an international aspect to the educational path, students can join an Education Abroad Program. They can study business at the American University of Rome in Italy, the University of Newcastle in Australia, and other institutions in Japan, England, Spain, and Fiji. For experienced travelers, there is the Exchange program in places like the Netherlands, Germany, Korea, Sweden, and the UK.

Student Life

Within each degree program, students experience mentoring, coaching, hands-on projects using professional software, and even role-play activities. Outside of the classroom, it is crucial for students to learn and grow toward career readiness. A requirement to graduate is participation in an internship with a professional business organization. Students gain real-world experience and extensive knowledge while building a network and developing essential skills.

The active student organizations for business students offer an immense amount of growth opportunities and social connections. Beta Alpha, for Accounting students, hosts speaker meetings, field trips, and Meet the Firms Night. The Pioneer Investment Club gives students experience working as a team to manage a real-life $500,000 portfolio. Students in the Association of Supply Chain Management and American Marketing Association attend speaker presentations, networking events, and participate in case competitions. The Society for Human Resource Management hosts professional development workshops, speakers, networking opportunities, and community service projects.
