The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay offers undergraduate and graduate studies on-campus and online. It aims to ignite a passion within every student towards an area of business that aligns with their talents and equips them with the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities to lead and impact an organization and the community confidently. Students will experience a supportive, engaging, and professional environment that values experiential learning, innovation, leadership, sustainability, and community involvement.

Education

Business faculty members are committed to helping students find great success and absorb as much relevant knowledge as possible. Undergraduate students pursue a Bachelors in Business Administration degree in either Accounting or Business Administration. Areas of emphasis include Finance, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Business Analysis, General Business, Management, Supply Chain Management, and Entrepreneurship. Graduate studies involve a Masters in Data Science, a Masters in Management with a General and an Analytics for Accountants track, and an Executive Impact MBA.   

Experiencing personal growth and independence, gaining life skills, and exploring new cultures and areas of business are only a few reasons why business students should participate in an exchange or study abroad program. The National Student Exchange program, through partner institutions, allows students to study business in other areas of the US, Puerto Rico, Canada, the US Virgin Islands, and Guam. Study abroad opportunities and international internships takes them to places like Chile, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom to study international business.   

Student Life

Business students need to get involved in activities and programs that provide academic and professional growth opportunities. Outside of the classroom, business students can conduct research relevant to current business trends and issues, volunteer in the community, participate in service-learning programs, intern with professional organizations, and join an active student organization. Business-specific groups include the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, Society for Human Resources Management, Student Finance Association, Accounting Students Association, Society for Advancement of Management, APICS, and Collegiate DECA. 

The Cofrin SoB and Career Services host the annual Business Week. It provides an incredible amount of professional development events and networking opportunities with a variety of business leaders. Events include the Etiquette Lunch, Job & Internship Fair, Elevator Pitch Competition, Mock Interview Day, and a Networking Dinner.

The Small Business Development Center offers incredible support for business owners and entrepreneurs in the surrounding 12 counties and provides experiential learning opportunities for business students. Students can see, first-hand, what it takes to grow and improve a small business. Free services include education, business consulting, tools, connections, and customized solutions.  

Online Programs

Cofrin provides a few of its high-quality, excellent degree programs entirely online without sacrificing any value. Undergraduates can enjoy an online Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting or Business Administration. Online emphasis options include Management, General Business, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management. Online graduate studies include a Masters in Data Science.
