The Naveen Jindal School of Management began serving students in 1975. Since its inception, it has consistently been recognized nationally and internationally for the high caliber of online and on-campus programs. U.S. News and World Report recently ranked the undergraduate business programs 39th, the Full-time MBA 13th, the Professional MBA 10th, and the Online MBA 6th among all public universities. Bloomberg Businessweek ranks the Full-time MBA 15th and the Professional MBA 8th. The MS in Business Analytics, Full-time MBA, and MS in Finance are also recognized among the best by the QS World University Rankings. Amongst scholarly business journals, Jindal School of Management has contributed the fourth most in the entire world between the years 2014 through 2018. These rankings are just some of the top highlights of this prestigious program.

Education

Among the many award-winning programs offered through the Jindal School of Management, are the nine undergraduate business degrees in Accounting, Finance, Global Business, Energy Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Sales, Healthcare Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology and Systems, Marketing, and Business Administration.

The top-ranked Master’s of Science programs are tailored to fit the needs of working professionals, with classes offered in the evenings. Many of the MS degrees are built upon a strong STEM foundation. Students can earn an MS in Accounting, Business Analytics, Energy Management, Finance, Financial Engineering and Risk Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Leadership and Management, Information Technology and Management, Management Science, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, International Management Studies, and Systems Engineering and Management. There are 13 joint MS/MBA degrees available and 15 in-demand MBA concentrations. Recent graduates have assumed management positions with Amazon, Chick-fil-a, Proctor & Gamble, and Toyota. A Ph.D. in International Management Studies and Management Science is also available.

Student Life

Freshman students can live in the Naveen Jindal School of Management Living Learning Community. As part of this community, they will be enrolled in the same sections of business courses, and participate in special events and community service. All business students are required to fulfill a social engagement project prior to graduation to give back to the community. Students can find opportunities with non-profits throughout the Dallas area with the Jindal OutREACH program. There are 35 active business student organizations dedicated to continued learning outside of the classroom, such as Business Professionals of America, Negotiation Club, the Student Association of Lean and Six Sigma, Toastmasters, Travelytics, and Women in Technology and Business. Students can also take their studies abroad for an exchange semester, summer experience, or international week-long field trip.

Online Programs

MBA students have the ability to pursue a Full-time MBA, Professional Evening cohort, Professional Flex, Online, or Executive MBA. The Princeton Review currently lists the Online MBA program at UT Dallas 12th in the nation. This distance learning program is also highly recognized on QS World University Rankings.
