The University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Business prides itself on equipping pioneering students who possess a strong work ethic. The COB is currently one of the largest business schools in the nation. Over 6,000 students get prepared for satisfying careers in business each year. Undergraduate and graduate students alike will prepare for roles as not just players, but leaders and influencers on the global stage of business. Students attending classes at UTA’s physical campus are placed in the center of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Texas metroplex is one of the most vibrant economic zones in the United States. The AACSB-International accredits UTA’s business school.

Education

Students enrolled at the College of Business at UTA are provided with one of the most diverse menus of graduate programs in the nation. There are currently 34-degree programs and seven career-enhancing certificates at the business school. Both undergraduate students and graduate students can take advantage of in-depth skills and knowledge development in a vast array of specialized business disciplines at the COB. The College of Business network is extensive, with well over 55,000 alumni and counting each semester.

Undergraduate business students can choose from seventeen degrees and two undergraduate certificates. The College of Business features 17 graduate programs and five high-powered graduate certificates. A Doctorate in Business Administration is also provided at UTA’s business school.

Student Life

Traditional on-campus students, as well as distance learners, have many student services and organizations at their disposal. Academic success is a huge priority of UTA so students can meet with a tutor or seek academic advisement at the Division of Student Success. The Lockheed Martin Career Development Center is an incredible hub for resources and events that serve all types of students at the university. Job fairs, innovative programs, mentoring, career advisement, and more are just some of the resources business students can take advantage of at the Career Development Center. Students needing technical support or who lack access to a networked computer can drop into the school’s Office of Information Technology. The department grants students access to over 500 personal computers within nine computer labs on campus. The College of Business currently oversees a student body of over 6,400. Online Programs

Working professionals interested in a flexible and convenient degree plan should consider the College of Business’ Online MBA. Distance graduate students can complete this degree in just one year by taking classes in an accelerated format. Each course of the online MBA is delivered within seven-week terms. The College of Business provides a general online MBA and focuses in the areas of Management, Healthcare, and Finance. The MBA is currently the only online degree offered at the business school.
