The University of Southern California features the highly reputable Marshall School of Business. In 2020, Marshall will celebrate a century of providing excellence in business education. Marshall was the first AACSB accredited business school in Southern California and has continued to up-to-date on the latest business trends. The online MBA is ranked among the top five programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report, The Princeton Review, and 3rd globally from the World University Rankings by QS. Research is an integral component of the business curriculum, and students have access to nine cutting-edge Centers of Excellence, as well as the Institute for Outlier Research in Business. Professors frequently publish scholarly articles and books. The 2019 edition of UT-Dallas Jindal’s Top 100 Business School Research Rankings places USC Marshall among the top 10.

Education

USC Marshall offers innovative undergraduate programs, including the World Bachelor in Business, which is the ultimate adventure-seekers dream. In this program, students will study at three schools in three continents, and earn three degrees! Students will spend their first year at USC in Los Angeles, their second year at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, their third year at the Universita Bocconi in Milan, and choose where to spend their final year in the program. Students can also earn a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. Specialized Business Administration programs include Cinematic Arts, International Relations, Real Estate Finance, and Computer Science. An impressive array of over 250 business electives are offered.

The Master of Business Administration also allows students to customize their degree with options, including a Full-Time MBA, Executive MBA, Part-Time MBA for Professionals and Managers, and the IBEAR MBA. Specialized Master of Science programs are also offered in Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Social Entrepreneurship, Global Supply Chain Management, Library and Information Science, Business for Veterans, Medical Management, Management, Business Administration, and Food Industry Leadership. The MS in Business Administration incorporates a specialization in an area such as Marketing, Analytics, or Finance. Students interested in Accounting can earn a Master of Accountancy, MAcc Data and Analytics, Master of Business Taxation, or Master of Business Taxation for Working Professionals. Doctoral students can also earn a premier Business Ph.D.

Student Life

Over 4,000 students are enrolled annually in USC Marshall. There are many unique ways for students to get involved as soon as they step foot on campus. Freshman can participate in the Marshall First-Year Experience. Approximately 1,000 business students participate in global experiences each year, and 90% of students complete at least one internship. The monthly calendar also consists of business lunches, speakers, and alumni happy hours.

Online Programs

Degrees offered fully online include the Master of Business Administration, MS in Global Supply Chain Management, Master of Management in Library and Information Science, and Master of Business Taxation for Working Professionals. Students will interact with their peers and professors through weekly live class sessions via webcam. MBA students will also meet their cohort through a one-week residency at the beginning of the program.
