For over 135 years, the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania has been the place where visionaries, trailblazers, and inventors get their start in business leadership. American industrialist and entrepreneur Joseph Wharton established the world’s first collegiate school of business in 1881 at the University of Pennsylvania. The founding was a radical idea that revolutionized both higher education and business practice.

Since that time, the Wharton School has continued to be on the cutting edge of business training to meet the ever-increasing global demand for transformative leadership, new ideas, and deeper insights. The business school knows a thing or two about blazing trails, from building the country’s first collegiate center for entrepreneurship in 1973 to the university’s latest research centers in neuroscience and alternative investments, Wharton is the place where business is done.

The Wharton School offers a broad spectrum of academic degrees for every stage, from the Global Youth Program to executive education. With a trained eye on teaching excellence, the business school creates transformative educational experiences for all our students. Undergraduate degrees like the Bachelor of Science in Economics, The Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology, The Hunstman Program in International Studies and Business, a BS in Nursing and Health Care Management are featured at Wharton. The Wharton MBA delivers unmatched global opportunities for graduate students and a distinctly collaborative education featuring more top-shelf programs and classes than any other business school.

Students get specialized skills and business knowledge to expand their career choices and join one of the world’s most prestigious alumni networks. Available in San Francisco and Philadelphia, the Wharton MBA for Executives is as comprehensive as the usual Wharton MBA. Students are exposed to the same innovative curriculum and world-class faculty as the globally acclaimed full-time degree. Part-time students enjoy an abbreviated schedule. Doctorates in Accounting, Statistics, Applied Economics, Marketing, Finance, and Management are also featured at the business school.
