The prestigious Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma is comprised of The School of Accounting, Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Division of Finance, Division of Management and International Business, Management Information Systems, and the Division of Marketing and Supply Chain. This award-winning program is ranked 1st in the state by U.S. News and World Report and Bloomberg Businessweek. Additionally, The Princeton Review names the business school as a Best Value. Graduate students attend classes in a brand new 27,000 sq. foot building, the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business.

Education

Undergraduate degree programs are offered in Accounting, Economics, Energy Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Risk Management, Sports Management, and Supply Chain Management. Prospective students are invited to tour Price College of Business with a Price student ambassador. Students can earn a Master’s in Accountancy, Master’s of Science in Management Information Technology, or a Master’s of Business Administration degree. Elective hours within the MBA program can be applied towards a professional certificate in Digital Technologies, Energy, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Media Management. Doctoral students can earn a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, Finance, Management and International Business, Marketing, Management Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management.

Student Life

Students can take learning beyond the classroom through participation in case competitions, family-friendly events, coding camps, and seminars. Study abroad opportunities are available to business students at all levels. These immersive experiences range from one-week to one-semester and include programs such as Social Entrepreneurship in Uganda, International Accounting in Europe, and Marketing and Supply Chain Management in Italy.

MBA students can participate in the Summer Scholars program. Price Scholars will have the time of their life in New York City, rubbing elbows with business executives, and learning the ropes of the corporate world. Dunham Scholars travel abroad for an international internship. Withrow Scholars spend six months studying International Petroleum Economics in Paris, France, at the Institute of French Petroleum. The Corporate, Energy, and Entrepreneur Scholars programs provide internship opportunities for students without limiting their destination. Graduate students who serve as graduate assistants will spend 20 hours per week assisting faculty and staff members, in exchange for a tuition waiver for the semester. The Center for Graduate Student Success ensures graduate students get the most out of their education and are prepared for life beyond graduation. This center is an excellent resource for graduate students to attend networking events, guest speaker series, and professional development workshops.

Online Programs

The Executive MBA in Energy program can be completed primarily online in just 15 months. Students in this program will be required to attend two one-week on-campus residencies, as well as an international immersion week with trips to Amsterdam, Netherlands, and London, UK. In addition to the EMBA, students may earn a Master of Accountancy and an M.S. in Finance.
