The University of California, Los Angeles’ Anderson School of Management believes the success of every student is shared by the collaborative efforts of faculty, coursework, financial generosity, alumni, and industry partnerships that provide a flourishing network of professional opportunities. Students are taught to be innovative, fearless in problem-solving, curious, change-makers, ethical leaders, and committed to positively impacting the world. The brand new, state-of-the-art, donor-funded, 64,000–square-foot Marion Anderson Hall will be home to the Anderson School of Management. It will provide an incredible learning facility with the latest technologies, active classrooms, work and social spaces, and more.

Education

As this school serves graduate students, it offers a variety of graduate degree programs. The Full-time Masters in Business Administration provides a flexible schedule, customizable options, and a summer internship program. Fifteen optional MBA specializations exist, including Corporate Finance, Entertainment, Global Management, Marketing Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Health Care Management, Leaders in Sustainability, Real Estate, and Social Impact. There is also a Part-time MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA), a Masters in Financial Engineering, and a Masters in Business Analytics. The UCLA-NUS Global Executive MBA, Asia Pacific is a joint MBA program offered by the Anderson School and the National University of Singapore. For students who want to continue their educational path and join the Doctoral Program, they can pursue a Ph.D. in several areas study including Accounting, Finance, International Business & Comparative Management, Management & Organizations, Strategy, or Marketing. MBA students can experience a week-long international immersion trip to places like Australia, Brazil, France, Israel, Japan, Peru, South Africa, and Spain.

Student Life

For a student to get the most out of their graduate studies, they are encouraged to participate in student organizations that help build leadership skills, better prepare them for a career, and build relationships with their peers. Professional clubs include the Anderson Tech Business Association, Cannabis Business Association, Investment Finance Association, Management Consulting Association, Retail Business Association, Sports Business Association, and Women’s Business Connection.

One of the foundations of the Anderson School is about making an impact. IMPACT@Anderson serves the UCLA family and local and global professionals through workshops, conferences, company visits, case competitions, research, mentoring, a social impact consulting, panel discussions, investments, and venture partners. The UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator is a renowned resource for entrepreneurial ideas. It helps create a pathway and support for students, faculty, and community members to develop startup business ideas that can turn into successful business ventures. Students also have the advantage of participating in experiential learning opportunities through the many Anderson Centers that deal with global management, real estate, marketing data analytics, entrepreneurship & innovation, technology management, enterprise in media, and sports, finance & investments.

Online Programs

To assist working professionals with ways to obtain more education, Anderson School provides a hybrid option for the FEMBA degree program. Students participate in online lectures and group assignments and then attend some weekend immersions on-campus.
