Thomas Jefferson University has been educating students since 1824, but the college has revamped its approach to education and embraces innovation. The ACBSP-accredited School of Business is an exciting place where students are able to become their best selves through industry projects. Forget the days of just learning from textbooks; classes are fun and meaningful. Businesses are encouraged to bring the problems they think are unsolvable to the SoB, and students work endlessly on these challenges until they’re solved. Students emerge as powerful leaders in their field of study, with the adaptability to excel at careers of the future that don’t even exist yet.

Education

Students ready for an unlimited future can start earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction Management, Fashion Merchandising and Management, Finance, Health Professions Management, Health Services Management Information Systems, International Business, Management, and Marketing. Accelerated bachelor’s degrees are offered in Building and Construction Studies, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Leadership in Emergency Services, and Organizational Leadership. These degrees can be completed in three years. Due to the collaborative nature of the college, some of these programs are offered through other departments on campus in conjunction with the business school.

Students can gain a new-found inspiration by pursuing an Innovation MBA or an MS in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Global Fashion Enterprise, and Taxation. MBA students can select a concentration from Accounting, Analytics, Finance, Leadership, Marketing, or Fashion Business. The Accounting concentration is excellent preparation for the CPA exam, and students in the Finance concentration will feel well-prepared for the CFA exam. The diverse coursework for the MBA allows students to study abroad and work on teams to help businesses develop business plans.
