The IACBE-accredited School of Management at The Sage Colleges focuses on building effective and ethical leaders who are confident in managing others and solve problems. Education

Several quality degrees are available to undergraduate and graduate students in their journey to becoming effective managers. Students pursuing Bachelors degrees can major in Business Administration or Sport & Recreation Management. The BBA degree offers concentration options in Organizational Studies, Marketing, or Sport Management. A Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Studies exists for adults who have obtained an Associates degree. Bachelors degrees offer classes during the day and night.

Graduate students can study for a Masters in Business Administration with concentration options in Finance, Business Strategy, Human Resources, or Marketing. The MBA classes can be taken in the evenings, on weekends, and during the summer, providing complete flexibility for busy schedules. Other graduate degrees available include the Masters in Health Services Administration with a Dietetic Internship specialization and the Masters in Organization Management with a concentration in Public Administration. Students are encouraged to seek out an international trip to gain priceless experience and a multicultural perspective. There are a variety of resources provided to help students find the best study abroad opportunity. Scholarships exist to help fund education, including merit scholarships for incoming freshman and transfer students, the Alumnae/Alumni Award, the Opalka Family Scholarship, and the Upton Scholarship.

Student Life

A plethora of multicultural, special interest, media, and service student organizations are available to help develop students holistically through relationships, team building, fun, and community outreach. Business students can also pursue participating in the Student Government organization and represent the student body in communication, planning, and decision-making. The Office of Career Planning provides numerous resources to help students navigate their academic and career pathway to success. This includes career development through helping find internships, connecting with alumni, career skills assessment, career guidance, and the career closet full of professional clothing. Students need to complete an internship before graduation to receive incredible instruction and hands-on experience. Previous internships have included esteemed organizations like General Electric, Northwestern Mutual Financial Group, American Red Cross, Gavant Software, Inc., New York State Police, TriCity Valley Cats, and Enterprise.

Online Programs

In continuation of providing flexible scheduling of classes, there are several online degree programs for business students who cannot attend class on campus for various reasons. These include the online Bachelors in Business Administration and the online Bachelor of Professional Studies in Organizational Studies. Graduate offerings include online Masters in Health Services Administration and Organizational Management. The entirely online MBA program consists of all four concentration options.
