Education
At the School of Business Administration, there are eight undergraduate majors available, including a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management that can be completed entirely online in as little as 15 months. This unique program combines prerequisite business coursework with online learning at the university level to fast track degree completion. A few of the courses that can either be completed before admittance into the program or at Texas Wesleyan are Principles of Economics, Principles of Financial Accounting, Business Statistics, and Fundamentals of Speech. Traditional on-campus programs include in-demand focus areas like Finance, Forensic Accounting, Computer Information Systems, and Accounting. At the Master’s level, students can earn a convenient online Master’s of Business Administration degree.
Student Life
Texas Wesleyan University is a close-knit, private, Methodist University located in Fort Worth, Texas. The campus and student body size lend themselves to making connections and building relationships with peers. Programs like the New Student Mentors help new students and their families feel welcome from day one. According to its website, “Texas Wesleyan University seeks to empower and cultivate student leadership, development, and volunteerism through various leadership and service programs.” Some of the initiatives that students may choose to support are disaster relief, food pantry, and a student development fund. Monthly leadership workshops are also held covering essential topics such as time management, leadership theory, or fitness and nutrition.
Online Programs
The 100% online MBA offered through the School of Business Administration at Texas Wesleyan University includes concentration options in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, and Supply Chain Management. Many students complete their degree in as little as one year while taking classes on a full-time basis. There are seven sessions per year, and the program includes condensed courses that are seven weeks long. This AACSB accredited program was also recently ranked among the “Best Online MBA” programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Outside of the fully online program, graduate students can also earn an Accounting degree in a convenient hybrid format, which includes online learning, as well as on-campus classes in Fort Worth.
