Education

Undergraduate students can major in Finance, Accounting & Analytics, Information Systems, Business & Technology, Management, Economics, Marketing Innovation & Analytics, or the unique Bachelors in Quantitative Finance. The Capstone business experience, for undergraduate students, challenges them in designing, consulting, researching, and developing a startup company business idea. Incredible opportunities exist to help students gain a beneficial global business perspective and build self-confidence through short-term study abroad trips to places like Barcelona, Athens, London, and Madrid. Semester-long exchange student programs are in places like France, Greece, the Netherlands, and China. Graduate students can study for a Masters in Business Intelligence & Analytics, Enterprise Project Management, Financial Engineering, Network & Communication Management & Services, Finance, Information Systems, or Technology Management. Doctoral students can earn a Ph.D. in Data Science, Financial Engineering, or Business Administration with concentrations in Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Finance, or Information Systems & Analytics. Financial assistance like the Ann P. Neupauer Scholarship, the Edwin A. Stevens Scholarship, and the Martha Bayard Stevens Scholarship, are available for qualifying students.

Student Life

From day one, students are assigned a Career Advisor that helps put together the right plan of action to work towards a career. The Career Center offers assistance throughout the entire degree process with goal setting, exploring career paths, and personal guidance through workshops, fairs, and recruiting events. Life on campus is abundant and active and provides numerous opportunities for academic, social, cultural, and experiential learning. Students can participate in arts, music, ethnic, professional, recreational, service, gaming, or faith-based student organizations.

With New York City located just on the other side of the river from Stevens, a plethora of opportunities for professional development and experience await every business student. Stevens has developed many beneficial corporate education partnerships with companies like Boeing, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and Verizon Wireless. The SoB provides externships where students spend the day shadowing a business professional. This is a great way to help discover which type of job a student wants to pursue. Summer internships, with companies like Goldman Sachs and Google, help students gain incredible on-the-job experience and resume-building opportunities. A one-of-a-kind facility, only one in the U.S., where business students can grow in knowledge and experience, is the Hanlon Financial Systems Center. Within the Center, there are two labs: the Hanlon Financial Systems Lab and the Hanlon Laboratory for Financial Analytics and Data Visualization.

Online Programs

Stevens provides eight masters degrees that can be completed entirely online. These online Masters degree programs are in Business Intelligence & Analytics, Financial Analytics, Information Systems, Network & Communication Management & Services, Business Administration, Enterprise Project Management, Financial Engineering, and Management.
