The Spring Arbor University Gainey School of Business prepares future leaders for management and leadership positions with a foundation in faith. Programs are formatted to meet the needs of traditional undergrads, adult learners, and professionals working towards their master’s degree.

Education

The Gainey School of Business offers an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, International Business, Management Information, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Management. The Business Administration program prides itself on integrating faith with practical applications throughout its curriculum and gives students the opportunity to choose a concentration within the major that fits their career interests. The BA program also offers students many opportunities to meet business professionals and for entrepreneurship. Internships and job placements are abundant within the BA program. The academic building for the school of business also houses the CP Federal Credit Union Trading Center. The Trading Center teaches students series seven certification, Bloomberg equities, and Bloomberg fixed income products. Students gain real-world experience, practice, and knowledge in trading technology.

Student Life

Spring Arbor offers a close-knit community with countless opportunities for fellowship. Over 50 clubs, activities, organizations, and ministry opportunities are available on campus with something for everyone. Chapel services, fellowship groups, and outreach opportunities are also widely available to help you grow in your spiritual walk. For students who are interested in living on campus, residence halls are available for underclassmen, upperclassmen, and even married couples and families.

Online Programs

The Gainey School of Business has several online options available. A Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management is designed for working adults in both a face-to-face virtual classroom or online format. The virtual classroom gives students who are not able to be on campus the ability to still interact face-to-face with classmates and professors from the comfort of their home or anywhere they have computer access. This program does require the previous completion of 58 semester hours. A Bachelor of Science in Management can additionally be earned at Gainey through the face-to-face virtual classroom only. This program is accelerated and requires a prior 58 semester hours.

Graduate students can earn an online MBA from Spring Arbor. The program is designed in an accelerated format and can be completed in as little as twelve months or part-time, taking one class at a time. Five concentrations are also available within the MBA to further equip graduates with the business skills they need to be employable: Management, Executive Leadership, Human Resource Development, Healthcare Administration, and Organizational Consulting. The online MBA is rated among the top 15 online programs in Michigan rated by Online MBA Today. The Master of Management and Organizational Leadership program is designed to fit the schedule of professionals from diverse backgrounds who wish to expand their knowledge and skills to that of a middle-management level.
